Maintaining a very low mileage, old car?

I have a 2005 Rav4 with just over 50k miles on in it, and I’ve been wondering what that is going to mean for maintenance going forward. From a pure mileage perspective, the car is “young”, but I have to imagine many of the components are aging anyway.

It has received all of its regular maintenance is generally well cared for, though does get parked outside (gate lot) throughout the Chicago winter. The only unusual maintenance it has had so far were the front ball joints, which should have lasted longer but I’ll write off to our absolutely horrible streets nearby the last couple years.

What should I watch out for? I’ve occasionally thought about picking up a newer car, but anything used is going to have nearly as many miles and buying something truly new seems like a waste of money given how little we drive.
