Rodents in 2005 Hyundai Elantra

So I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and its got rodents living in it. I’m pretty sure they’re chipmunks but i could be wrong. They chewed through my headliner. They live / get into the trunk, engine bay and into the car itself. I Just threw a bag of moth balls into the trunk. I Also used peppermint oil soaked cotton balls.

Hole in the headliner

I put peppermint oil soaked cotton balls in the headliner and duct taped it up

I also put a cotton ball under the hood

There is also probably 4 more in the car including the glove box, I just didn’t get to taking a picture of all of them.

At this point if they don’t go away I’m about to give up, I’ve tried dryer sheets, traps and vacuuming it spotless without any luck.

I don’t want to buy a new car yet because I want to save my money so I can buy an actual NEW car which I’m not too far away from now.

The car drives fine but gets a few check engine lights a year due to the terrible catalytic converters. I’m not sure how to know when or if the rodents are completely out of my car or if they ever will be. If you have any tips let me know!
