What is r/cars experience with racing schools?

The earlier post about what is your 2018 resolution when it comes to cars. Well regarding picking up a 2017 1LE come February, I’m also looking into racing schools. From what I found online Skip Barber has an intro to racing which is a 1day school which runs $500.00. They then have a 3-day school that builds on that for like $1300.00. I know you have to pay to play when it comes to tracking your car, so price is not a big deal. I just want to make sure I’m getting a good experience for my money. Does anyone have any experiences with Skip Barber? Or recommend a different school?
