Why does it seem American trucks start much easier than Japanese cars in cold?

Something I’ve noticed when moving from my car to my family members cars are the ease of starting in the cold. My brother’s ‘02 explorer starts up no problem no matter what the temperature, and the same goes for the ‘15 explorer and ‘00 Suburban. However when trying to start my car, an ‘05 9-2X, my brothers car, ‘13 forester, and my girlfriends car, ‘17 RAV4 they all take significantly longer to turn over. What might be the reason for this?
